In Fairbanks in the mid 80's I built a helical towel bar by wrapping a steel bar around a tree and then cutting it down. In Seattle in 1990 I needed a project and refined the process into this this line of powder coated steel bathroom accessories. ■

Corealis proved to be a viable product and soon was sold from 30 retail outlets on the west coast. In 1994 Corealis was accepted for the "Accent on Design" section of the New York International Gift Fair. The accessory line was in production until I moved back to Alaska in 2000.
